Hillary Clinton is poised to capture the Democratic nomination within the next 72 hours but some Bernie supporters won’t give up hope.
At the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, Sanders supporters, like Trump supporters the week before, marched and proudly shouted, “Lock her up.” While there have been innumerable think pieces, explainers and angry Facebook posts delineating the differences between the two candidates, some supporters just don’t see the difference. And Twitter honestly can’t handle them anymore.

Over the past few months, Twitter users have been carefully, cautiously enumerating the differences between the candidates. Here’s their highly restrained perspectives.
Supporting Bernie over Hillary before diverting to Trump is like preferring McDonald’s to Burger King & then committing arson #DemsInPhilly

Someone making a bumper sticker that reads “man, do I ever hate women!” could sell it to Bernie Bros and Trump Supporters and make a FORTUNE

I hear you, Sanders supporters who plan to vote Trump. One time I asked for Coke but they only had Pepsi, so I set fire to my head.

Bernie Sanders is a sellout in the same way Thomas Jefferson was when he failed to murder John Adams & destroy America after losing in 1800.

It’s as if these Bernie supporters only want to prove to Trump that white people can be embarrassing in plenty of other ways. #DemsInPhilly

Hillary and Trump are not the same. That’s like comparing apples to Hitler.

Since Bernie didn’t win the nomination, I’m gonna vote for Trump. Also, since the store didn’t have my favorite beer, I’m gonna drink bleach

Voting for Trump to spite Hillary is basically giving the finger to every religious and ethnic minority in America https://t.co/GLukEkhqdb
